- Research & Development (R&D)
The Iran Info-Tech Company R&D Center was founded in 2002, and the company attaches great importance to the R&D department and innovation of products. While the R&D results promoted the rapid growth of the company, the R&D department also grew, and it was renamed as R&D and Investment Center. Leaders of the company firmly believe that "The only way out is research and development, and only innovation can lead to development," and provide spacious and bright offices, labs, sample making rooms and special showrooms, invest sufficient funds in scientific and market research, and constantly increase the investment for the R&D Center. The structure, talent selection, use and incentive mechanisms of the technical personnel in R&D are based on the official technical personnel of the company combining with the introduction of domestic and foreign experts in the industry to form a high-level professional technical R&D team composed of middle-aged and young people. The technical personnel are mainly in charge of the R&D of new products, and technologies, as well as pilot production in the Production Department. It is a relatively intensive organization, able to access rapid communication, as it is composed of experts with professional technical personnel at the core. By the end of 2009, there are 3 finished projects and 8 projects ahead as listed below:

An enormously powerful supercomputer built from 216 AMD processors. The Linux-cluster machine has a 'theoretical peak performance of 860 gig-flops'.

STB is a device that connects to a television and an external source of signal,
turning the signal into content which is then displayed on the television screen

Gaming Machines (Sahand “g series” Kiosks) are designed ergonomically for various kinds of games. Mini, Mid and Large-sized products with facilities that depend on the game, make this product an outstanding one.
• Vending Machines
Vending Machines provide snacks, beverages, tickets and other products to consumers without a cashier.
• DVBT
DVB-T is a digital transmission, delivering data in a series of discrete blocks at the symbol rate. DVB-T has been adopted or proposed for digital television broadcasting.
• Banking Kiosks
Various models with banking facilities will make banking much easier for ordinary people. Using these machines (Sahand “b series” Kiosks) will save lots of money and time for customers, and bank personnel as well.
• Information Kiosks (Brand New Models)
New designs with new facilities depend on conditions of use. Indoor and outdoor designs with suitable materials will make these products as multi- purpose kiosks.

Networking and Communications
The network division of Iran Info-Tech Development Co. offers services such as consultation, design, installation, deployment and training about different local and wide area networks, and installation of different operating systems with different topologies and on different platforms. The company utilizes products from reputable companies such as D-Link, 3COM, Cisco, …, in implementing such networks. The company is also able to implement networks through wired and wireless technologies.
In addition, the company is also able to implement projects through structured wiring. Service rendering is also available to the clients through phone lines or high-speed solutions. Services such as launching ISP centers, web site designing, webhosting, and e-mail services are examples of these facilities.
Quality Control
The quality control division of the company is in charge of the following duties:
• Testing all component samples for measures of performance, compatibility, durability, and life time before bulk purchase with the most reliable benchmark soft wares
• Testing the final product through following three stages:
1- Controlling all delivery items and their statistical test by quality control specialists
2- Testing all components during production process by the manufacturing specialists
3- Testing all installed components before packaging (final product test) by quality control specialists
• All the works in the quality control division are carried out by technical specialists.
• The quality control division of the company has the equipment to measure the performance of computer systems and also components such as mainboard, graphic board, CD-ROM drive, …, and also carries out comparison between different models.
• The quality control division of the company can also respond to all technical problems, and also provides technical consultation about different computer systems to the clients. Therefore, there is a close cooperation between this division and the after-sales service department for systems troubleshooting.
• All statistical figures related to severity of problems and technical malfunctions are extracted and collected in the quality control division and sent as feedback to other divisions of the company in order to minimize system problems.
After-sales Services
Our after-sales service department offers the following services to our clients:
• Computer system and peripherals delivery to the clients
• Assembling and installing system at customer sight with prior coordination and training the client about the effective use of the computer system
• Limited warranty service within specified time registered on the purchase receipt; free of charge replacement of defective components within one month of the purchase date; guiding the clients about our training courses and programs
• Call Center system responds to the clients’ demands 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Dispatch is done in less than 24 hours after contact and troubleshooting completes in less than 48 hours while components or systems are offered on demand as stopgaps
• Regular service for non-warranty third-party systems in form of a service and maintenance contract
• System and component upgrade consultation is provided by our experienced specialists which is carried out with the client’s approval with cost-efficiency and high performance
